SCOPE:
The field of experimental mechanics is burgeoning with advances in technology and the increasing need for precise measurement in frequently hostile environments and on novel materials and tissues.
While optical techniques had been preferred - particularly in the field of bio-engineering - other mature methods are also being exploited in tandem with the growth in microand nano-manufacturing.
The conference will provide an international forum to present and discuss significant progresses in research, development, and application of these areas.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION & SUBMISSION:
All papers accepted and presented in the ICEM 2006 will be published in the Journal “Key Engineering Materials”. Prospective authors are required to submit a 200 to 300 word abstract. A preparation guideline of abstract is available on the web site(http://www.icem06.org).We encourage you to submit your abstracts electronically via the above web site.
As the full manuscripts should be peer-reviewed by the end of March for publishing to Key Engineering Materials (SCI Journal), the above dates will be strictly enforced.
As the journal will be available before the conference, late-submitted manuscripts might not be included in
the journal.
